Do you remember the first time you could really feel the magic of Christmas? What about when you truly believed in Santa?
I do. (Kim believes in the magic of Hannukah) I remember I was about 10 and right on the verge of not believing and only believing for my 3 younger siblings. We went to midnight services at church as we always did. Santa had always previously come to house only before we woke up. This year, Santa came to our house while we were gone at church. I was stunned, I couldn’t believe that he knew we were gone and could put all the presents under the tree. (I still to this day have no idea how my mom pulled this one off without catching her)
For me, Christmas has always been a special time with my full extended family and a time of year I couldn’t wait for. It still is but as many of you know most of my family is in Wisconsin and I don’t always get the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas magic with my family as often as I would like.
About a month ago, I had an opportunity to take a workshop with another photographer who creates beautiful, nostalgic Santa artwork with his photos. It was such a wonderful chance to see how someone else creates magic with Santa. It was so fun to see kids truly captured by Santa and fell in line with the story that he created.
This year we will be offering these special Santa sessions where your kids will be able to have an extended amount of time to play with Santa and be brought into his world of magic and Christmas. We will be offering a lot of new products for these sessions, including custom storybooks and metal prints. Stay tuned for more info coming soon.
The artwork created during these new Santa sessions will look similar to the image above. And of course, we will add some Christmas magic to the images.
