Safety and Sickness for Holiday 2020

As we continue to navigate through these difficult times, we are continuing to be as safe as we possibly can.  Here is what you can expect when arriving to the studio and how you can help us maintain the highest level of sanitization.

  • If you, your child(ren) or anyone in your immediate circle is sick, running a fever, coughing, has a runny nose or any symptoms related to Covid-19 please call us to reschedule.  We will make all attempts to get you back into the studio in a timely manner.
  • If you arrive to the studio and are displaying any of these symptoms, we will kindly cancel your session and ask you to reschedule.
  • We are highly concerned about keeping ALL of our clients and staff safe.  If any of our staff becomes sick, we may have to close the studio temporarily and do not want that to happen.
  • We will be continuing our current cleaning and sanitizing procedures between all clients that we have been doing since reopening in June.
  • Masks are still required in the studio for anyone not taking photos and please limit the amount of people in your party.

As we continue to navigate through these difficult times and enter our fairly busy holiday season, we are continuing to be as safe as we possibly can.  Safety and cleanliness has always been important to our studio and we are keeping up with the same standards we created when we reopened in June.  We are truly relying on all of you to help us stay safe and healthy too.  Here is what you can expect when arriving to the studio and how you can help us maintain the highest level of sanitization.

Here is what we are doing in the studio to protect you:

  • Upon entering the studio, employees will remove their outdoor shoes, change clothes, and wash hands.  As both Harmonie and Olga require public transportation to get to work, we will be taking the extra precaution of changing clothes to reduce the possibility of risk.

  • We are committed to getting weekly testing through the holiday season to ensure we have not been exposed either on public transportation or during a session.  We also are participating in tracing programs to ensure our safety.

  • Employees will practice regular sanitation throughout the day, including multiple hand washings and the use of hand sanitizer, especially between clients.

  • Studio sessions will be limited per day to maintain proper cleaning and sanitation between clients.

  • Sessions limited to immediate family only (and limit amount of people present).  This means if only your child is taking photos, please limit to one parent unless both are planning to take photos.  Normally, we encourage parent photos and grandparent photos, but during this time we ask that we limit family to only those taking photos.  Large group photos are suspended at this time.

  • We are highly concerned about keeping ALL of our clients and staff safe.  If any of our staff becomes sick, we may have to close the studio temporarily and  will continue to do everything we can to make sure that does not happen.

  • Thorough disinfectant cleaning will be done before and after each session.

  • All surfaces and props will be wiped down or washed including camera and door handles between every session.

  • We will offer UV light sterilization of small props. Good for cleaning pacifiers too!

  • If we or anyone in our households has been sick in the past 14 days or if we have been exposed to anyone that has been sick in past 14 days, your session will need to be rescheduled for the safety of your family, other clients, and our safety.

  • While shooting in the studio, we will maintain social distancing as much as possible during your session and may rely on you to assist with positioning your child, though we will have an assistant available for most sessions.  If we can not distance accordingly, other measures such as face coverings, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation will be practiced.

  • Please note that during children’s shoots it is important that the photographer interacts with your little one to get smiles and eye contact and wearing a mask can hinder that experience.  If we struggle to the the attention from your child, we may ask you to assist and in certain instances remove your mask and stay at a safe distance.  Adults not participating in the shoot must wear a face covering.

  • Throughout the holidays, we will still be requiring an ordering appointment.  At this time we are requesting that you do an online Video Ordering Session (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc) versus an in studio ordering appointment to avoid unnecessary travel and possible exposure.

  • We are completely understanding to your family and your situation and will do our best to accommodate most requests in regards to safety or sanitation.

Here is what you can do to help protect us:

  • If you, your child(ren) or anyone in your immediate circle is sick, running a fever, coughing, has a runny nose, or any symptoms related to Covid-19 please call us to reschedule.  We will make all attempts to get you back into the studio in a timely manner.

  • If you arrive to the studio and are displaying any of the symptoms above, we will kindly cancel your session and ask you to reschedule.

  • We ask that all clients wash hands and remove outdoor shoes upon entering studio.

  • No outdoor shoes will be allowed into the shooting studio.  If you would like kids to wear shoes for the shoot, please make sure they have not been worn outdoors & have been cleaned.

  • As all surfaces and props are being cleaned between all sessions, we ask that you do not touch any unnecessary surfaces or props. We ask that you assist in keeping children from doing the same (though we know kids!)

  • UV light sterilization of small props. Good for cleaning pacifiers too!

  • We ask that you social distance as much as possible during your session and assist with positioning your child where necessary.  If we can not distance accordingly, other measures such as face coverings, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation will be practiced.  Children do not need to wear a mask in the studio.  It is, however, required that adults not participating in the shoot wear a face covering.

  • While we are still requesting you do an in person ordering appointment, we will be utilizing online Video Ordering Sessions (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc) versus an in studio ordering appointment.
